Services

Parenting Consultations:

Have kids they said, it would be fun they said..... Parenting can be very rewarding but it can also be super hard. Sometimes having an outside perspective and a plan for moving forward can help you in your parenting journey.  Parenting consultation consists of a family composition assessment followed by the creation of a parenting plan to work towards a strong family unit with strength-based specific strategies. My goal is for you to leave empowered within your role as a parent, seeing the strengths and uniqueness of your family and for the addition of skills to add to your parenting toolbox.

Adoption/Permanency Planning Counselling

Building your family through adoption is unique and exciting, it also means navigating situations and experiences that biological families may not experience. I have worked in the permanency planning field for 20 years supporting children youth and families as they grieve attach, bond and connect. I am also a mother through adoption and this experience has provided an in-depth understanding of the process and the highs and lows of family formation through adoption. I work from a trauma-informed lens using a child-centred, solution-focused approach.  â€‹This service can also include consultations for:

  • Proposal Package Consultation

  • Transition Plan Consultation

  • Openness Plans & Mediation

  • Cultural Plans
